Function

As a Designer FTTH (Fiber to the Home), you're responsible for designing the fiber optic network. You gather and process technical data from network systems. This includes designing and calculating requested fiber optic connections or networks and mapping and calculating them. Whether it's a single connection or a complete project, you ensure optimal preparation of tasks so that execution can proceed efficiently.

As a Designer FTTH, you're an expert in fiber optic networks. You listen carefully to the client's requirements, provide advice, and deliver the highest possible quality using the latest software.

Here's a glimpse of your tasks and responsibilities:

Designing and calculating fiber optic connections or network parts and ensuring mapping and calculation in customer registration systems.
Contributing technical proposals and plans that fit within the overall concept of the assignment.
You will need to work procedurally, following predefined frameworks, guidelines, and process setups to work as cost-conscious, effective, and efficient as possible.
You will be responsible for system processing. This includes converting network designs into customer systems as well as collecting and processing technical data from (customer-specific) network systems.

Vereisten

The perfect candidate

You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Design, or equivalent relevant experience.
You have a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD.
You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Specific knowledge of P2P (point to point) fiber network structures and "Cocon" is a significant advantage.
You communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
